Over 25 Years of Experience
Dr Lisa MacRae graduated from the University of Sydney and began her career in general practice with a particular emphasis on women’s health and family planning. She began performing cosmetic injectable treatments 1993 and then sat exams in cosmetic medicine becoming a Fellow of the Faculty of Medicine of the Australian College of Cosmetic Surgery in 2002 and subsequently becoming a member of the Cosmetic Physicians Society of Australasia and the Cosmetic Physicians College of Australia.
She specialises in non-surgical and non-invasive cosmetic dermal fillers and anti-wrinkle injections.
Within her two practices at Double Bay and Gladesville, she has a loyal following of patients (ranging from in their 20s to in their 80s) who are largely referred by word of mouth.
Her clinics have a boutique feel about them and all treatments are tailored to each individual patient’s needs.
Dr MacRae believes in enhancing her patients’ natural beauty by bringing out their best features, whilst maintaining an overall natural-looking appearance. She believes in the ‘less is more’ approach to avoid an artificial looking result.
